About Anisha

I am Anisha, a senior commercial lawyer at Lawpath Legal with over 16 years of experience
at top-tier firms in Australia and Sri Lanka. I advise clients across the full business lifecycle –
from early-stage startups through to established corporations and multinational groups – on a
broad range of commercial, corporate, business, technology and finance law matters.

My approach is relationship-first and commercially grounded. I invest time understanding
your business, industry and objectives, so that the advice and documents I deliver are
genuinely tailored to your circumstances and aligned to your goals. I work with clients across
a wide range of sectors including technology and SaaS, health and med-tech, NDIS and aged
care, financial services, media and marketing, construction, property and retail.

My background spans commercial contracting, corporate structuring, banking and finance,
technology law, privacy, employment and dispute advisory, and I bring a blend of technical
depth and commercial know-how to each matter that comes from years of practice across
complex, high-value transactions at top-tier firms.

I can help with:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts – including shareholders
agreements, joint venture agreements, co-founder equity arrangements, services
agreements, consulting and contractor agreements, confidentiality and NDA
agreements, IP assignment and licensing agreements, and company constitutions.

  • Corporate structuring and governance – including company incorporations, HoldCo-
OpCo structures, discretionary and family trust establishment with corporate trustees,
bespoke constitutions (including multi-class share structures for startups and venture
capital raises), share allotments and corporate governance document suites.

  • Technology, SaaS and data law – including SaaS platform terms, end user licence
agreements, data processing agreements, website terms and conditions, privacy
policies and software IP licensing frameworks.

  • Banking, finance and security – including secured and unsecured loan agreements,
general security and specific security deeds, intercreditor arrangements, and
independent legal advice to guarantors and security providers.

  • Employment and contractor engagements – including employment agreements,
executive and director service agreements, independent contractor agreements and
    associated IP assignment documentation.

  • Commercial disputes and contentious matters – the full spectrum of pre-dispute
communications including cease and desist letters, letters of demand and IP
ownership assertions as well as pre-dispute strategy and exit, release and settlement
    documentation.

  • Startup and SME advisory – including business structuring, equity arrangements,
regulatory compliance and the legal infrastructure needed to grow and scale.

Whether you are structuring a new business, negotiating a complex contract, managing a
commercial dispute or navigating a regulatory question, I deliver practical, commercially
focused advice that works in the real world – not just on paper.
